I think it&#039;s a fake statement from the part of Slideshare! It seems they don&#039;t really measure the rating of a user stuff but just assign some (near to) random classific to our presentations using the &quot;rated on facebook&quot; mark just to say something. 
I had two cases of my own presentations which have never been discussed on Facebook :), but been placed by slideshare on their home page section &quot;most on facebook&quot;!
